We are pleased to announce a series of internal promotions which reflect our continued commitment to nurturing talent and supporting career progression within the Firm.

Asim Din and Helen Chadderton have both been promoted to Partner, while Benjamin Davenport-Lawton has been promoted to Associate. These appointments reflect the dedication, expertise and leadership each individual has consistently demonstrated.

Asim joined Butcher & Barlow two years ago and has quickly become a key part of our team. His contribution to the Firm has been felt across departments, and his promotion to Partner is a well-deserved recognition of his efforts.

Speaking on his promotion, Asim said:

Joining the Firm has been a breath of fresh air. From the outset, I have been entrusted by senior management to play a meaningful role in the business and given the freedom to grow and develop. Becoming a Partner is the culmination of years of dedication and trust built with both colleagues and clients. I look forward to helping drive the Firm’s continued success.

Helen has been with Butcher & Barlow for several years and continues to be a vital member of the team. Her promotion to Partner highlights her consistent client-focused approach and the respect she has earned from her peers.

Reflecting on her achievement, Helen said:

I work in a fantastic office environment with supportive colleagues, and the encouragement I have received – both in terms of my client work and professional development – has been invaluable. I was incredibly proud to be invited to become a Partner at Butcher & Barlow.

Ben began his career with Butcher & Barlow as a Paralegal in 2018 before qualifying as a Solicitor in 2021. He has built a strong reputation within the Agricultural Law sector and is known for his approachable manner and practical advice.

Speaking about his promotion, Ben said:

I was drawn to Butcher & Barlow because of its standing in Agricultural Law, and over the years, I have been supported in developing my expertise. This promotion is a significant milestone for me, and I am grateful for the opportunity to continue growing within the Firm.

Senior Partner Jonathan Aldersley commented:

Recognising and developing talent from within is a key part of our Firm’s ethos. Asim, Helen and Ben have each demonstrated exceptional dedication, expertise and commitment to their clients. Their promotions are well deserved, and I have no doubt that they will continue to contribute significantly to the Firm’s success.

At Butcher & Barlow, we are proud of our supportive and collaborative culture which allows individuals at all stages of their career to thrive.
