I am a Chartered Legal Executive specialising in Residential Conveyancing and work from the Firm’s Leigh office.
I started my career as a Trainee Legal Executive in 2003 after completing my LLB (HONS) Degree and graduating from the University of Central Lancashire. I qualified as a Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives in 2008 and joined Butcher & Barlow LLP in January 2014. I was made an Associate in 2022.
I deal with all aspect of residential conveyancing transactions, including:
- Sales of residential properties, Freehold and Leasehold
- Sales of residential leasehold apartments
- Purchases of residential properties, Freehold and Leasehold
- Sales of Buy to Let properties
- Purchases of Buy to Let properties
- Re-mortgages, including Buy to Let and apartments
- Transfers of Equity
- Deeds of Gift
I pride myself on providing an excellent level of client care to my clients. I am approachable, down to earth, and always on the other end of the phone or email. I do like to see clients in person which gives a more personal service. I feel this is the reason that a large percentage of my clients are returning client, having instructed me previously and been more than satisfied with the work I carried out on their behalf.
I have worked in the local area throughout my career, initially working in Leigh Town Centre for some 10 years, before Tyldesley Town Centre for some 6 years before returning back to my roots in Leigh. I feel that working within the local area gives me an advantage – I have a good working relationship with the local estate agents, mortgage brokers and solicitors, which helps to ensure completions take place in a timely manner and makes for a quick, stress-free and pleasant transaction.
Outside of the office I enjoy long walks with my two clumber spaniels, Reggie and Paisley, and holidaying with them in Cornwall.
