I joined Butcher & Barlow in June 2023 as a Paralegal to the Family Department at the Northwich office. Since then, I’ve passed the Solicitors Qualifying Exams and as part of my training to become a Solicitor I am now working within the Wills, Trusts and Estates Team based in Northwich and Frodsham.
Prior to joining Butcher & Barlow, I worked as a legal assistant at a Manchester-based family law firm for two years. Here, I assisted fee-earners in matrimonial, financial remedy and private children matters.
My journey in law began as a Paralegal within a Knowledge Management team of an international law firm. Whilst at this firm, my work focused on current legal developments and future international trends in: Public Liability, Occupiers’ Liability, Employers’ Liability, Catastrophic Personal Injury and RTAs.
I graduated from the University of Liverpool in 2017 with a Law with French LLB. In my final year of university, I gained valuable experience at the University of Liverpool Law Clinic. This work involved advising a client who had been treated negligently by their previous solicitors.
Away from work, I enjoy spending my time hiking, travelling and with my family.
