I am a Solicitor and Partner based at the Firm’s Frodsham office. I have been based at this office since qualifying as a Solicitor in 2012. I specialise in Private Client and Property matters.
Prior to qualifying as a Solicitor, I trained with Butcher & Barlow, and before that, I undertook my legal qualifications at the College of Law, Chester. I previously studied History at the University of St Andrews.
More particularly I deal with:
- Will’s;
- Probate;
- Inheritance Tax;
- Trusts;
- Powers of Attorney; and Court of Protection matters
I also act on a broad range of Residential and Commercial Property matters including Buy to Let Property, Leases, transactions involving Self Invested Pension Plans (SIPPs) and Owner Occupied Businesses.
I act for a broad spectrum of clients from private individuals and families to family trusts and commercial entities and pension funds to assist with a range of legal matters.
I am presently completing the examinations to become a full member of the Society of Trusts and Estates Practitioners (STEP) which is the leading professional body for practitioners in the area of Trust and Estate administration.
Recent matters I have dealt with have included dealing with preparing Will’s to contain trusts to assist vulnerable beneficiaries, mitigating potentially large inheritance tax bills in a deceased’s estate and also dealing with property transactions involving considerable Overage or Claw-back provisions.
Outside of these matters, I enjoy cooking and constructing Lego sculptures with my two-year-old son.
