I am a Solicitor in our Wills, Trusts and Estates Team. I am based at our Leigh office and assist clients living local to the office and in the surrounding areas of Tyldesley, Atherton and Wigan. I offer appointments in the office, in clients’ homes, by telephone and via video at my clients’ convenience. I advise and assist clients on a range of matters including the following:
- Preparation of Wills and any associated Inheritance Tax planning;
- Preparation and Registration of Lasting Powers of Attorney;
- Registration of Enduring Powers of Attorney;
- Administration of Estates;
- Applications for Grants of Probate and Letters of Administration;
- Court of Protection applications; and
- Trusts.
I provide an empathetic service to my clients, helping them navigate what can be distressing topics with as much reassurance and positivity as possible.
I joined Butcher & Barlow in July 2021 and completed my Training Contract here, qualifying as a Solicitor in March 2024.
Before joining Butcher & Barlow, I worked in the Court of Protection department of a city centre firm, and in the Wills and Probate department of a boutique high street firm.
I graduated from The University of Manchester in 2019 with a First Class degree in Law and completed the Legal Practice Course and LLM in Professional Legal Practice in 2021 with a Distinction grade at The University of Law, Manchester.
Outside of work, I play netball a couple of times a week in local leagues and I enjoy going for walks. I also volunteer at a cat rescue and I have two adopted cats from there, Tigger and Dexter.
