What our clients say about our Residential Property Service

Professional and friendly at all times. Emails and phone calls were always acted upon.

    Mrs K

Can't recommend Butcher & Barlow enough. Thank you to Lisa and Karen who dealt with the sale and purchase of our home. The whole time I was kept informed and any updates were given to me straight away. Everything went so smoothly because of them.

    Lisa

I can highly recommend this company. They handled the sale of my Mothers house in a professional and friendly manner. At all times I was kept updated and informed during the process. Ella was fantastic, kept me advised at all times, and answered any queries in a prompt and professional manner. A great service from a highly professional company whom I would highly recommend.

    A

Ella was highly efficient , professional and courteous . She kept me updated all the time . She did a wonderful job when it was extraordinarily busy.

    Barbara

Would recommend! A friend recommended Butcher and Barlow when I needed to sell my house. They have been fantastic throughout the process - friendly, helpful, and kept in touch.

    Rachel

Great service from Matthew who completed this work much quicker than I expected. He kept me informed at every stage of the process and answered any questions that I had.

    Liam

Completed on our home and used Butcher & Barlow based on a recommendation of how good Karen is. Kirsty Frain took point on this for us. It took a little over two months from instruction, through to completion with advice/guidance given where needed, laser sharp (in exactly the way you'd want your solicitor to be!). I hope I don't need conveyancing again any time soon, but if I do, I'll be coming straight back here.

    Mike

Matt and Steph were very helpful and professional when expediting my recent sale. It was particularly difficult for me because I had already moved away and so could have felt out of the loop. However, Matt was very diligent in chasing up parties and keeping me advised until he was able to give me the news, "We've completed". Thank you.

    Lesley

Fast and reliable legal help. Ella and Caroline were very helpful in assisting me with a house purchase. Seamless and simple whilst answering all my questions. Thanks again.

    Laurence

Brilliant service from start to finish. We needed a solicitor initially to help with Probate. In particular, we needed someone who would guide us in regard to Trusts for our grandchild whose father had died. Chris was brilliant. He helped us negotiate the whole process, and we were happy to instruct a colleague to manage the property sale too. A special thank you to Paula who, at the end of the phone, never made us feel that our questions were anything other than welcome. We'd never go anywhere else.
